2011 M4K 'Stache Bash

Have a Hairy Halloween in Charlotte — wear a mustache, dress silly, and tilt your glass as we raise money for charity.

'Stache Bash, is Mustaches for Kids Charlotte's annual costume-heavy music and mustache charitable benefit featuring succulent 'Stache-Tini and Handlebar cocktails with great music, a Chinese auction, mustache enthusiasts and hairy upper lip entertainment.

'Stache Bash will mark an end of our four week campaign where men were encouraged to sprout sweet mustaches all over Charlotte and solicit donations from their friends, family and colleagues. Our mustache-growing endeavor is benefiting Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center of Charlotte, the only resource of its kind in Mecklenburg County.

HERE'S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:

* WHEN & WHERE: Friday, October 28, 7-10pm at MEZ in the Epicenter

* COST: We refuse to be like every Halloween event in the city. The cost is free to you, we are delighted to have your support and encourage your participation. A charitable contribution of your choice is welcome.

* ENTERTAINMENT: Thirty-four men will take the stage as celebrity judges vote for our Sweetest 'Stache, Worst 'Stache, Top Fundraiser and Best Costume winners. We are also giving out a best hairy mustache-costume prize to one lucky attendee (non-M4K participant) man or woman, supporting an amazing 'stache costume!

* CHINESE AUCTION: $10 for 20 tickets, $20 for 50 tickets, $40 for 100 tickets. You have a chance to win nine amazing packages, each retailing $300 and above. Tickets may be distributed amongst different packages or placed towards a single package. Packages include but are not limited to, a food and wine package, golf package, extreme adventure package, V.I.P. package, sports fan package, girls night out package...and many MORE!

* DO I NEED A MUSTACHE: Bring one or pick one up at the door. Every attendee gets a free, stick-on lip sweater at the door. Your 'stache is a represents your contribution and support for Pat's Place.

* IS THERE A THEME? Hairy Halloween baby! Bring your costumes and go Village People, the Golden Girls, Magnum P.I., your favorite priest (Judas Priest), Frank Zappa, a mermaid, a merman, 1980s television mainstays Alf or Mr. T, or come as your self. Just have fun with it.
